Lent Cross Challenge Day 9:
People were using the temple as a market place, selling all sorts of goods and exchanging money. This made it harder for people to worship God. Jesus became angry at this.

The next day which was Friday, Jesus was taken by the Jewish religious leaders to the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate. They told Pilate that Jesus should die. (Matthew 27:1-2, Mark 15:1, Luke 23:1-2, John 18:28-32)
